The commercial manager of British Airways has told 3FM that the airline is pleased to be returning to the Isle of Man after five years.
Earlier this week BA announced it would be starting up a daily route to and from London City at the end of May.
It replaces the Aer Arann route which was used by many business travellers until the airline pulled out earlier this year.
Luke Hayhoe, general manager for British Airways commercial, said the airlines focus would be very much on the new route and it would not be looking to expand further in the near future.
