A school in Douglas says it wants to turn itself into a TT campsite for the next four years.
Ballakermeen High School on St Catherines Drive has applied for planning permission to host up to 150 tents.
The change of use would cover each TT from 2017 to 2020.
In recent years, the school has hosted a glamping campsite through the Hotel Bell Tent company.
