Some year groups at Ballakermeen are being told not to come in next week.
It's as high numbers of staff at the school are unable to work due to respiratory illnesses.
Year 10 pupils are asked to stay home and work on Monday and Tuesday and year nine to do the same from Wednesday to Friday.
Head Teacher Adrienne Burnett says the decisions been made due to the increased absences making it 'increasingly difficult' to place teachers in every class.
In a letter sent out this morning - it says those years groups have been chosen to avoid affecting those with upcoming exams and to avoid parents needing to organise childcare.
The school says it explored a range of possible options - but despite its 'best efforts' - there's still a significant staff shortfall.
All staff, students and visitors are strongly encouraged to wear face masks in the school.
