Barbara ready to blast Isle of Man

Winds of up to 70mph are expected to batter the Isle of Man later this morning - possibly bringing down trees and causing damage to buildings.

The Island's due to be swept by the southern end of Storm Barbara from around 8am, with up to storm force winds by midday.
 
An amber weather warning has been issued by Ronaldsway Met Office - it's also warned continued gales this evening mean the West of the Island could see waves breaking onto exposed areas.
 
Forecaster Neil Young says it's difficult to predict how much damage Barbara will do:
