Chief Minister, Howard Quayle MHK, is urging Island shoppers to be responsible and not buy more than necessary.
In recent weeks, stores across the Island have been forced to ration certain products due to increased demand during the global Coronavirus outbreak.
Mr Quayle says some retailers are already making provision for the infirm and older people to help them get the stocks they need - adding we're entering a time where everyone 'must work together through patience, co-operation and consideration'.
Elsewhere, a number of local groups have already been set up offering to collect shopping and provisions for vulnerable members of communities.
