One of the first £10 notes on the Island has sold for £500.
The banknote was one of the lots at Chrystals Auctions on Saturday morning in Douglas.
It was produced in 1972 and was described as still crisp and clean.
It was estimated to sell at between £400 and £600 and went for £500 when the hammer fell.
