A Port Soderick man who was "belligerent" to police has been ordered to be of good behaviour for the next year.
63-year-old Edward Smalley was handed a Binding over Order at Douglas Courthouse earlier this week ordering him to keep the peace.
They attended his home on November 20th in relation to a different matter but Smalley refused to let them leave by blocking their van's path.
The court head he's since sent a letter to the officers involved apologising for his behaviour - a charge of obstructing them was withdrawn.
