Officials warn burning hazardous waste such as plastics, wood and rubber, must be avoided as it can produce toxic smoke.
Anyone found burning household, commercial, or industrial waste on their bonfire could face prosecution.
Lastly, people are encouraged to check for hedgehogs and other small animals before liting.
