Bootcamp success for X Factor's Simon

X Factor contestant Simon Lynch has made it through to the next round of the singing competition.

Last night viewers saw the 23-year-old, who is from the Isle of Man, take on the second day of bootcamp.

Singing a cover of the Roberta Flack classic "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" he impressed the judges - tweeting afterwards Simon described the process as "exhausting".

The ITV show returns next Sunday when Simon will take on the daunting "six chair challenge".
