A church in Bride could be getting new roof tiles to help boost the area's mobile phone coverage.
Sure Isle of Man has applied for planning permission to replace the traditional stone slates on top of St Bridget's Church in Bride with fiberglass panels.
In its application, the company says it wants to install mobile network equipment in the church tower because existing masts aren't giving a good enough signal.
But the existing roof tiles could interfere with mobile signals, prompting the planned replacement.
