The road closure in place around Broadway will be lifted a week early tomorrow (Saturday) due to good progress on the demolition of the Mannin Hotel.
Now that the hotel has been pulled down the developer will start the construction of a new 50 bedroom hotel.
This is expected to last a year - during this time the road will be open as usual but with narrower traffic lanes.
The public have been thanked for their patience so far.
