Bus petition gets 2,000 signatures

A petition to bring back a bus service in the south of the Island has more than 2,000 signatures.

Christa Viohl of Port St Mary has been collecting signatures for a paper petition as well as an online one to reinstate the bus to Cregneash and The Sound.

Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall said the summer service wasn't financially viable.

In total, 2,030 people signed - their signatures are now being checked before the petition is presented to Tynwald.
