Tynwald Mills says it's still hopeful it can host a Christmas ice rink - despite being turned down by planners.
On its Facebook Page, the company says it's still working with planning authorities to try to make sure the facility can open for its fourth year.
But General Manager Claire Britnell says the deadline to hire equipment and staff for the event is now fast approaching.
She says she's hoping common sense will prevail and the complex will be able to offer skating over the festive period.
