Calls To Get Flu Jab

The DHSS is urging people who qualify for the free flu jab to get it done as soon as possible.

Anyone can get flu but those more at risk are people over 65 and babies over the age of 6 months with a medical condition.

Those caring for a vulnerable person are also advised to have this jab.

Free flu immunisations are also being offered to all those who work in close contact with poultry.

The service aims to have 75% of over people immunised by the end of December.
