    Campaign group say funding should be withdrawn

    It follows an attack on the Island by Ed Miliband

    Manx-based trade unionists should be made to withdraw funding from the UK Labour Party after leader Ed Miliband's snipes at the Island.

    That's the view of campaign group The Celtic League which says government should look at legislating against applications of political levies to the party. 
     
    It says the Communication Workers Union, GMB, UNISON and Amicus are just four of seven unions operating here that have affiliations with the organisation.
