Local campaigners are looking for support in their efforts to honour Manx man William Kennish.
The Victorian poet, explorer, scientist and inventor - who is originally from Maughold - is buried in an unmarked grave in New York; the William Kennish Memorial Trust wants to change that.
The group is gathering donations to make a Manx granite headstone and set it in the Green Wood cemetery.
