Cannabis users' club 'opening soon'

A cannabis social club for people prescribed the drug says it's opening premises on the island soon.

The Green Lounge says it's the first social club for adults who receive medical cannabis, and will host talks for those prescribed the drug when it opens.

Its website says it will charge £100 a year for membership and its members will share the benefits of using the drugs as well as provide a safe space.

The club also says it can help people get a prescription for medical cannabis, offering an appointment system on its website as well as merchandise.
