Police are investigating after a car crashed into a Douglas roundabout and fled the scene.
Last night at around 21:30hrs a vehicle, though to be a HGV, caused significant impact damage to a bollard at a the roundabout by shoprite on Victoria Road.
As a result one its wheel arches broke off and there was a large amount of diesel on the road which needed to be cleaned up by a department of transport sweeper.
