Emergency services were mobilised this morning after a car crashed off a highway near Curraghs this morning.
Firefighters, Police and Paramedics were called to the scene after the vehicle came off the road and rolled down a bank before coming to rest against a tree.
The fire service says, thankfully, the occupant was out of the vehicle when crews arrived and was cared for by ambulance teams.
Authorities are reminding residents roads remain icy on Island today and people should drive to conditions and give extra time for journeys.
