    Children's home could convert into rehab centre for criminals

    Criminals could be relocated to Braddan if planning is approved to create a new rehabilitation and resettlement centre.

    The Department of Home Affairs wants to convert Tromode House in Cronkbourne Village - if approved it would replace David Gray House. 
     
    The former children's home would become a base for the probation service and would offer probation, bail and after-care for offenders. 
     
    Chief executive Mark Kelly says a bigger facility is needed:
