Cars set alight on Port St Mary golf course

Police are appealing for information after two cars were deliberately set on fire and rolled off a cliff in Port St Mary yesterday morning.

Emergency services were called to the area of the golf course at 1.15am after reports that two vehicles alight in different areas of the course.

A green Peugeot 306, which had been rolled off the edge of cliffs, was found below the Perwick Bay estate and a red Citroen Saxo was located about 200 metres from bay.

Police say the fires are suspicious and are linked.

Sergeant Paul Kemp says the people responsible are still outstanding (see audio).
