A statue of one of Castletown's most famous residents has been cleaned up by Manx National Heritage.
The sculpture of Captain Quilliam - who fought alongside Admiral Nelson on HMS Victory at the battle of Trafalgar - has been cleaned and given a new protective finish.
It was unveiled in 2005 to mark the battle's 200th anniversary.
MNH says the bust, on the Quarterdeck near Costa and Castle Rushen's main entrance, has been given a special wax coating to protect it from the elements.
