Manx Missile Mark Cavendish is set to become a married man.
He popped the question to his model girlfriend Peta Todd last weekend and the news was made public yesterday.
According to an interview with the couple the former world champion proposed at home and the couple are now considering marrying in London next October.
However it wasn't all good news for Cav yesterday – he suffered a bruised arm after riding into the back of a car that had braked suddenly whilst he was out training.
