CCTV shows man wielding knife during robbery attempt

Police have released CCTV footage of the moment a masked man pulled a knife on a shop assistant in Strang:

That’s Detective Constable Emily Butler who’s investigating the attempted robbery at Strang Stores which happened at 5.30pm on November 2^nd.

Officers now want help identifying both men, who have their identities concealed, although they have confirmed one man has been arrested.

DC Butler has paid tribute to the shop worker’s bravery during what she’s described as a “harrowing ordeal”:
