Charities link up for New Year's charity dip

Two charities are teaming up for the New Year's Day charity dip on Douglas Promenade.

FIM Capital Beach Buddies are linking up with Breast Cancer Now, with both hoping to host more events together in the future.

Angie Aire of Breast Cancer Now says one of the possible future events - a beach party next summer - could 'potentially be a really big event and something that's never been done before'.

Meanwhile, Beach Buddies founder, Bill Dale, says the partnership could be 'the start of something special on the Isle of Man'
