Is Allan Bell’s government a dictatorship? That was a claim laid at his door in the House of Keys on Tuesday.
East Douglas MHK Brenda Cannell asked him if he was aware that the public regard it ‘not a true democracy but a dictating government’.
Mrs Cannell was just one of a number of MHKs who were voicing their opinion on the sacking of Bill Henderson from Treasury.
He was removed after telling the Treasury Minister he wouldn’t support the proposals to bring in tuition fees due to his pre-declared interestS.
