The Chief Minister has spoken to 3FM about a letter he received from the Bishop earlier this week, urging him to condemn the atrocities carried out in Syria.
Mr Bell said he of course shares the sentiments of the Bishop, who stated in the letter he did not want the Island’s economy to benefit from others’ pain.
He went onto to say the Island fully endorses the UK’s stance of removing their ambassadors from the country, but ultimately any stance he takes is not likely to make much of a difference to the situation.
