Police are investigating after a woman allegedly assaulted a child in what they're calling a "completely unacceptable" incident.
The blonde haired woman, aged between 30 and 40, approached the 12-year-old boy at around 6.30pm last night on the Cronk Y Berry School playground.
She reportedly grabbed him and pushed him against the school fence using both her hands around his neck to hold him there - she then made threats and pulled his hair.
As a result the boy, who didn't know the woman, suffered reddening to his face and neck and he, and his friends, were left distressed.
