An MHK is stepping down as Children's Champion.
Garff MHK Daphne Caine, who was in the post for 18 months, announced she's resigning from her role on social media this week.
In a statement, Mrs Caine says the remit of her job has changed, and has become too restrictive, focusing solely on vulnerable and looked after children.
The former Children's Champion now says she'll now pursue other issues with youngsters across the Island, including mental health.
