Peel coastguard were called to help a man in the west of the Island yesterday.
Just after 2.30pm, a man was reported to have fallen and suffered a broken ankle at Glen Maye beach.
The coastguard team helped paramedics take the man from the beach to a waiting ambulance some way up the path.
The man was taken to Noble's Hospital for treatment.
