Coastguards had to rescue a motorist whose car was in danger of being washed over by the tide yesterday.
In the early hours of yesterday morning, Douglas Coastguards were called to Garwick Bay in Baldrine.
A car had become stuck in the sand on the beach, just below the high water mark.
Officers used a Land Rover to tow the car back up the beach to safety.
