A new puffin crossing leading to Braddan's Roundhouse has been completed.
The crossing on Braddan Road was needed after the board discovered it was a planning condition required for the building.
After a row with government over the crossing, work to install it took five weeks and the commissioners say it was finished on budget.
Chairman Andrew Jessopp says the last few months have been quite stressful for the local authority.
