Communications Commission Invites Public Feedback

The Communications Commission is appealing to the Manx public to get involved in helping modernise their service.

The existing Telecommunications act has remained unchanged since 1993, drafted in a pre-mobile, pre-digital and pre-internet age.

With these things considered it’s hoped the public can help them develop a fresh regulatory framework that will attract further investment and on Island innovation.

The commission want the new framework that will maximise the Island’s social and economic potential.

The consultation period lasts until Thursday 11^th February.
