The owner of an industrial estate in Douglas says it wants to improve safety under a cliff face.
Quay Properties which owns the South Quay Industrial Estate has applied for planning permission to put up safety netting.
It says a survey has recommended safety measures be put up as the cliff overlooks yards used by companies.
And it adds the safety netting will prevent rocks falling onto them.
