Temperatures dropped to near freezing last night for the first time this winter.
The Met Office put out a yellow weather warning last night for frost and ice patches as the temperature hit around 2 degrees.
Warnings remain in place until 10am this morning.
The Met Office also suggests that hills could see snow today with the rest of Island expected to be hit with snow later this week.
