A lane in the centre of Douglas has been named as ‘Villier’s Gate’ by the council.
It was previously marked by the Department of Infrastructure as E186 and ‘lane at the rear of Villier’s Hotel’.
Villier’s Gate stretches from Regent Street to the Victoria Street and includes the path being used for Tevir Group’s development in the square.
