Court for man facing string of motoring offences

A man facing a string of motoring offences will appear before magistrates again in January.

Karl Benson of Saddlestone faces a total of seven charges relating to an incident earlier this month.

He was arrested following a crash on the dual carriageway outside Ronaldsway airport just before 9pm on December 11th.

Mr Benson appeared before the bench at Douglas Courthouse on Thursday charged with driving without a valid license, with no tax or insurance.

He's also said to have failed to stop after a road traffic accident and not reported the accident to police.

And the 29-year-old faces further charges of driving a vehicle in a dangerous condition and dangerous driving.

He was bailed in the sum of £250 and will appear before magistrates again on January 19th.
