The Department of Infrastructure isn't responsible for scrapping electric cars, despite its waste management responsibilities.
So says minister Tim Crookall after facing questions in the House of Keys this week about EVs.
He said private companies scrap the vehicles - but there are difficulties getting damaged vehicles off the Island to be disposed of.
