    Cyclist died from chest and spinal injuries

    The inquest into the death of an Agneash cyclist who collided with a Range Rover in Kirk Michael has been opened and adjourned.

    41-year old Katherine Burge - who was known as Kate - was cycling on Main Road on August 4th when she was fatally injured. 
     
    She was pronounced dead at the scene with a post-mortem confirming she died from chest and spinal injuries.
     
    Coroner of Inquests Jayne Hughes passed on her condolences to her family and friends and formally released her body so that funeral arrangements can be made. 
     
    The inquest was adjourned to a date yet to be fixed.
