An Isle of Man cheerleader who was told he could never dance has lit up Blackpool!
Move It Dance Studio, based in Hutchinson Square in Douglas, took part in the Cheer Dance UK competition with its cheerleading squad Phoenix Rising.
One cheerleader, William Grosvenor, has Down's Syndrome and brittle bone disease, and was told dancing was something he could never do.
William won two trophies at the competition at the weekend.
@moveitstudios 🌟 The Power of Dance 🌟Yesterday, Will had an unforgettable moment on the Ballroom floor that left us all in awe! 🎉👏 Will’s journey is nothing short of inspiring—just one year ago, he couldn’t even walk without a cane after breaking both his legs. But through sheer determination, relentless dance training, strength work, and a focus on a healthy lifestyle, Will is now dancing stronger and more gracefully than ever before! 💪💃✨ Cheerdance UK for giving Will the stage to shine. This moment will stay with him—and all of us—forever. Let’s keep dancing and pushing boundaries! #phoenixrising #InspirationInMotion #CheersToWill #iomdance #cheerdanceuk #phoenixrising
