A pay settlement with doctors backdated to April 2023 will cost the Island more than £6 million for the last two years, according to Health Minister Claire Christian.
She faced a question for written reply from Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper about how much the pay offer - which averted planned strike action by doctors - cost the government.
In her response, she said the deal would cost £6.2 million for the last two years, but £3.7 million of that figure had been budgeted for previously.
Ms Christian also revealed the pay offer would cost the Island an extra £2.5 million a year in future.
