Dogs mauling pregnant sheep in West Baldwin have cost a local farmer over £3,000.

Police are investigating the attack which took place on Monday evening in Ballaquine.

The suspected two offending dogs set upon 190 pregnant ewes - which suffered 'major stress' and could cause miscarriage.

Six sheep were mauled before the animals were spotted and removed - their owners are yet to be identified.
