The Department of infrastructure has applied to store clinical waste at a disposal site in Braddan.
It's asked the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture for permission to set up the facility at the Ballakinnish Nurseries site.
It says it wants to store the waste at the bottom of Richmond Hill.
Interested parties have three weeks to lodge any comments with DEFA by emailing EnvironmentalProtection@gov.im
