The Department of Infrastructure is reminding drivers to turn left when exiting the prom walkway Christmas parking.
It says its had reports that drivers are turning the wrong way and crossing in front of southbound traffic to head towards the junction with Harris Promenade.
There are permanent signs in place to direct all traffic entering the road from here to turn left towards the sea terminal.
The department says ignoring these signs disrupts traffic flow and can be dangerous.
