Thanks to a hefty donation, complicated joint replacement and revision surgery can now be undertaken on-Island at Noble’s Hospital.

It’s estimated that roughly 30 people on the Island require the treatment per year.
The Department of Health have praised the move saying it will not only prove more cost-effective, but will allow patients to have their operation closer to home, without the added anxiety and inconvenience of having to travel to UK hospitals.
