Police are warning shared video of a knife attack in Willaston this week could derail a potential prosecution.
On Facebook, officers say people are sharing footage of the incident, which left a teenaged girl needing hospital treatment, to social media groups.
They say the footage could cause distress to those involved, as well as potentially hinder an ongoing criminal investigation.
Police say if you have footage you can contact police headquarters.
