The manager of Douglas Town Centre says the Development Partnership is doing all it can to ensure this is the liveliest Christmas yet in the capital.
Speaking to 3FM, Gillian Anderson said numerous events were lined up over the coming weeks including the Christmas lights switch on, music, Santa’s grotto and late-night shopping.
She said that parking was a big issue for Douglas shoppers, especially over the Christmas period, and extra arrangements were in place to try and remedy this.
She also confirmed that extra busking acts and singers are also set to play in town to bring a fun atmosphere to the streets (see audio).
