A man who admitted being more than three times the legal alcohol limit will appear in court again next month.
Stewart Scott who is 60 and whose address was given as Belgravia Road in Onchan appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
Mr Scott hit another car on October 18 but left the scene - police later arrested him at his home.
The case was adjourned until December 12 and he was bailed until that date.
