There are now 24 licensed companies operating on the Island with 650 employed within the sector.

Latest figures show that e-gaming has generated 5% of the Island’s economy over the past year with approximately £120 million spent on island.

The Isle of Man is ranked in the top four e-gaming jurisdictions, with the quick license application process and low licensing fee among the main reasons for this.

At the end of the month the Island will have a major presence at one of the worlds biggest E-Gaming events in London, ICE 2011.

ICE is seen as a key event in the calendar and a chance for the Island to advertise itself as a place on which to do business.
