Early morning call out for Douglas Coastguard

The team was paged to man the emergency landing site at Noble's Hospital for a possible in-coming helicopter.

 

Rescue 999 was helping a fishing boat which had got into trouble off the west coast of the Island - Peel Lifeboat was also called out and managed to get the situation under control.

 

Douglas Coastguard was stood down when it became apparent there was no need to evacuate the crew.
